The Doc Holliday Unit of the Twin Rivers Legacy Forest on the Olympic Peninsula is being logged NOW. The Elwha Legacy Forest Coalition has launched a GoFundMe to save as many acres as possible from imminent clearcutting.

The Coalition has an ambitious goal of raising 280k to save a large section of the remaining forest. The good news: Webster logging has agreed that for every 20k raised, we can save 1 acre of precious, biodiverse habitat.

The Elwha Legacy Forest Coalition is doing a big fundraising push through August 3rd (and beyond) to save one of the most incredible patches of Old Western Red Cedar and Sitka Spruce in what's left of Unit 5. The time is NOW, logging in this unit has already begun.
